IMPORTANT ADVANTAGES FOR GREENHOUSE APPLICATIONS
DOUBLE-SIDED UV PROTECTION
Mutiwall polycarbonate sheets can be produced to block with double-sided UV protection if desired. The most important advantage of
double-sided UV protection in greenhouse applications is that UV rays of the sun damaging from the inner parts of the side walls,
especially when the roof is opened for ventilation on the side walls.
MINIMUM HEATING EXPENSE
It is calculated that if the internal temperature value of the greenhouse is kept at 10 ° C, the annual fuel oil requirement will increase to
5 tons, and if the internal temperature value is increased to 15 ° C , the fuel consumption will increase to 18 tons. It is seen that the
cheapest fuel is natural gas, while the most expensive fuel is wood. The fuel oil consumption of the two greenhouses, in which tomatoes
are grown and the temperature is kept at 13 and 5 ° C, was found to be 7021 and 2348 kg, respectively. It means 16.25 and 5.44 kg of
fuel per square meter, respectively . If we go from these calculations, 2.17 kg of fuel oil is consumed for 1 kg more tomatoes.
ADVANTAGES OF APPLICATIONS
• High light transmittance • Application and project support service • Fire resistance
• High resistance • 10-year warranty • Diffuser effect
• IR protection • Anti-fog • Longevity
• Minimum heating expense • Double-sided UV protection
